There will be an open competitive exam to establish an eligible list for the position of Fire Mechanic. Applicant must possess current Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician ASE Certification; must have 5 years mechanical experience;have a valid Ohio Driver's License. Applications must be made on the regular application form obtainable only at the Civil Service Office located in Memorial Hall Directly behind Parma City Hall, 6617 Ridge Road, Parma (access off Ridgewood) or the Cleveland Branch NAACP, 2131 Stokes Blvd., Cleveland, Ohio . Deadline for filing is March 22, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. There is a $10.00 non refundable fee to be paid at time of filing application. Said fee will be waived with proof of financial hardship.
