Due to growth and the desire to continue their proud record of Quality and On Time Delivery they are looking for a VP of Engineering. Needles to say this is a NEW KEY position and will report to the President. All Engineering positions will report to this position. 
Your function includes hiring , coaching and supporting engineers for the safest  / best work environment and 100% customer satisfaction through operational excellence.
Some key objectives : perfect safety ; total employee satisfaction ; 100% Regulatory compliance and highest ethical bar ; Zero - Defect Quality ; 100% on - time delivery ; 8 hr. Manufacturing Lead Time ; elimination of waste ; Lowest total cost.
You would be expected to set stretch objectives with team to outperform for customers; hold team 100% accountable and prides outstanding coaching and support to ensure every engineer is successful; Apply proven Lean Manufacturing expertise to achieve objectives ; lead from the front and set the highest standards of excellence ; Have experience at AS9100, NADCAP, IPC-610 Class 2  and 3 and all relevant quality standards and certifications ; interface with customers
Your experience should include: Track record of success applying  5S, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma best practices ; 20 yrs. of Process Experience with Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS); Demonstrated ability to set goals quickly while possessing strong people skills centered around supporting each member of the team ; Six - Sigma strongly preferred ; BS / Engineering ; advanced degree is a plus. MUST know the Electronics Contract Manufacturing industry and have full knowledge of SMT Equipment, PCAB, Testing Procedures etc. AGAIN THES ITEMS ARE A MUST HAVE !!!!
